Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

PASS USTR E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: OIIP, KPAO, ETRD, HO, USTR SUBJECT: MEDIA REACTION ON CAFTA, MAY 10, 2005 1. On 05/10 the Tegucigalpa-based liberal daily "La Tribuna" published an op-ed by Gautama Fonseca entitled "The Decision." "The presidents of Central America decided to travel to the U.S. to beg Congress to approve CAFTA as quickly as possible." "Never in history of mankind was there a higher moment of servitude, of greater insensitivity and disdain for human beings." "They haven't even asked anyone here what they think about CAFTA. But, they don't hesitate to affirm that government representatives are in charge." "This handful of men keeps acting with the same irresponsibility, with the same cold blood and indifference. The faces and the names have changed, but not the conduct. They are the same wolves disguised as lambs." "It's horrible to have to witness the show in which our presidents are starring!" "How horrible!" Pierce
