Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

Poloff delivered Ref points to Aiyman Aamri, Acting Director of the International Organizations section of the Foreign Ministry, on June 30. Poloff explained that the U.S. has now ratified all twelve UN CT Conventions and pressed Aamri on the GOJ's progress in ratifying the four remaining UN CT Conventions that Jordan is not a party to. Aamri said that Jordan has signed but not ratified three of these Conventions: the Suppression of Terrorist Financing, the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against Maritime Navigation and the subsequent Protocol on Acts against the Safety of Fixed Platforms, and the 1979 Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Materials. Aamri told Poloff that the GOJ continues to study the Convention on the Suppression of Terrorist Bombing and added that the Convention was not presently open to signing. Gnehm
