US embassy cable - 05SANAA1052

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

review reverse tripwires for Authorized Depature status (per
reftel C). Key offices and personnel represented at the

2. (S/NF) Discussing other concerns, the Ambassador noted a
report from MOI detailing the recent arrest of an individual
associated with Al-Houthi who reportedly stayed in a hotel
near the Embassy. RSO discussed a recent grenade attack near
the Sana'a Customs Authority, explaining that the reports
available have been very inconsistent regarding the intent
and target of the attack.
