SUBJECT: PARAGUAY IMPLEMENTING LIGHTER BAN

On March 16, Econchief delivered Ref B demarche to
Tomas Bittar, the new Director of DINAC, Paraguay's
civil aviation authority. FAA's Joaquin Archilla
accompanied Econchief to the meeting, which took place
on Bittar's second day as director. DINAC's technical
staff already was aware of the ban, which they said
they were implementing.
