UNCLAS WELLINGTON 000318 SIPDIS DEPT FOR EAP/ANP E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: KDEM, PREL, NZ SUBJECT: COMMUNITY OF DEMOCRACIES: NEW ZEALAND ATTENDANCE REF: STATE 66796 Post delivered reftel points to Tracey Patterson, Americas Division, New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, on April 13. Patterson said that the NZ delegation to the April 28-30 Community of Democracies Ministerial in Santiago, Chile, would be led by Minister Chris Carter. Carter serves as Minister for Conservation, Local Government, and Ethnic Affairs. Patterson indicated that the New Zealand delegation was unlikely to request a bilateral meeting.
