Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

(C) Ambassador covered ref points on the candidacy of Susan McLurg for the UN Advisory Committee for Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ) May 20 with Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher, emphasizing the importance of continued U.S. participation on the ACABQ to ensure Congressional support for payment of UN assessments. PolCouns separately presented FonMin Muasher's personal assistant Ali al-Ayed with copies of ref talking points and Ms. McLurg's CV. Both Muasher and Ayed indicated that Jordan will not make a final decision on its vote until much closer to the UNGA, but said McLurg is obviously a strong candidate for reelection. Gnehm
