Shaikh Daij said officials from Manama would not be attending the meeting, but he pledged to pass information on the U.S. position to Saleh Y. Al-Saleh, the senior Bahraini commercial attach in Geneva. Shaikh Daij requested that USTR/Geneva be in direct contact with Al-Saleh about the issue.
