(SBU) Pol Unit Chief delivered ref (a) points on March 10 to Dorothea Auer, Office Director for Biological and Chemical Weapons in MFA's Bureau for Nonproliferation and Arms Control. Auer said that Austrian representatives (including herself) would certainly attend these meetings. Austria probably would not have a presentation of its own, however. 2. (SBU) Further to ref (b), Auer thought that Austria could support the U.S. proposals, with the caveat that experts had yet to look at the individual pathogens and toxins. She pointed out that Austria has no production of the relevant pumps and other equipment. Brown
