UNCLAS SANTO DOMINGO 001200 SIPDIS STATE FOR IO/T - JANE COWLEY, WHA/CAR E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: TBIO, PREL, DR SUBJECT: DEMARCHE ON UN DECLARATION ON HUMAN CLONING: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC REF: STATE 033944 The Charge d'Affaires and political officer delivered points on UNGA consideration of a declaration on human cloning (paras 5-6A reftel) to Deputy Foreign Minister Alejandra Liriano on March 2, and left the points in Spanish and text of the resolution in English as non-papers. The Deputy FM undertook to pass the information to the Dominican UN mission in New York, but did not provide any immediate substantive reaction. MARSHALL
