UNCLAS KATHMANDU 000773 SIPDIS STATE FOR EB/DAVID IRWIN E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: EAIR, KTIA, NP, U.S-Nepali Relations SUBJECT: Nepal Seeks Bilateral Air Services Agreement Nepal seeks a bilateral Air Services Agreement with the U.S., the MFA informed Post in a diplomatic note dated April 15. The text of the dipnote follows. Begin Text: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of His Majesty's Government of Nepal presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States of America in Kathmandu and has the honor to inform the latter that His Majesty's Government of Nepal has decided to conclude bilateral Air Services Agreement at mutually agreed date and venue. The Ministry would appreciate it if the esteemed Embassy could kindly convey the above matter to the authorities concerned of the Government of the United States of America. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of His Majesty's Government of Nepal avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the United States of America in Kathmandu the assurances of its highest consideration.
