While Jordan is unable to provide direct budgetary support for the Palestinian Authority, Mulki said that he would encourage other Arab states to upgrade their diplomatic ties with Israel, noting that such actions would work to Jordan's advantage given that it had recently returned its ambassador to Tel Aviv.
