UNCLAS WELLINGTON 000163 SIPDIS OES/OA FOR ETIRPAK E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: KRVC, TPHY, EWWT, NZ, Vessel Clearance SUBJECT: NEW ZEALAND CLEARANCE FOR R/V KAIMIKAI-O-KANALOA REF: A) WELLINGTON 065; B) STATE 11142; C) STATE 11143; D) STATE 11144; E) STATE 11145 1. Embassy is in receipt of a letter from the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) with copies of clearances for the research vessel Kaimikai-o-Kanaloa from the NZ Ministry of Fisheries, NZ Ministry of Research, Science, and Technology, Land Information New Zealand, NZ Ministry for the Environment, NZ Maritime Safety Authority, and the NZ Ministry of Defense. 2. The letter from MFAT advises that written clearance from the New Zealand Immigration Service will be passed separately. 3.
