UNCLAS DUBLIN 000139 SIPDIS E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: SENV, ECON, SOCI, EAID, KPAO SUBJECT: IRISH NOT TO ATTEND MOROCCO FORUM ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT REF: STATE 12206 On February 3, Post contacted Dymphna Hayes, Development Co-operation Ireland (DCI, the development arm of the Department of Foreign Affairs) regarding reftel's notification about the 2nd International Forum on Partnerships for Sustainable Development: Advancing Implementation on Water and Energy, which will take place on March 21-23 in Palais des Congres-Marrakesh, Morocco. Hayes, who represented Ireland at the first forum in Rome, March 2004, (during Ireland's Presidency of the European Union) did not believe that she, or anybody else from DCI, would attend this forum. She committed to inform Post if an Irish participant were designated. KENNY
