1. Embassy Abu Dhabi and Consulate General Dubai welcome the 
proposed visit of 8 students and 2 faculty to the UAE as part 
of the National War College's "Field Studies in National 
Security" program in May.  Post, which has already had some 
e-mail exchanges with NWC student Jim Swan, looks forward to 
developing a suitable itinerary for the group in anticipation 
of its visit here.  We would propose scheduling meetings with 
experts on counterterrorism, regional security, economy and 
trade, the media, and Islam, and sessions at the Abu 
Dhabi-based Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and 
Research, the Dubai-based Gulf Research Center.  We would of 
course program briefings by the Chief of Mission and members 
of the country team.
