PAS Abuja and Lagos saw increased usage of policy materials and coverage of mission events in Nigerian media in January compared to recent months, with 49 placements. A particular highlight was four broadcast placements of excerpts of President Bush's State of the Union address giving prominence to the war on terrorism: on national TV and radio network news programs and two regional radio stations.
