UNCLAS THE HAGUE 003312 SIPDIS E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: ENRG, PARM, OTRA, KNNP, TRGY, RS, SZ, NL SUBJECT: ELIMINATION OF WEAPONS GRADE PLUTONIUM PRODUCTION IN RUSSIA CONFERENCE - DEMARCHE TO DUTCH MFA REF: STATE 268348 PolMilOff and Swiss Embassy Counselor Jean-Hubert Lebet delivered reftel demarche to Dutch MFA Security Policy Bureau Special Advisor Bas ter Haar on December 21. Ter Haar repeated Dutch support for the program -- previously expressed to NP Mike Stafford and DOE/NNSA Jim Turner during their 2004 visits to The Hague -- and said that the GONL hoped to make a financial contribution to the project in 2005.
