Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

Poloff delivered demarche to Salah Al-Saif of the MFA
Department of International Organizations on December 15.
Given GOK's 'no' vote on the Iran and Turkmenistan
resolutions during the UNGA Third Committee, poloff
encouraged GOK to at least abstain on any no action motions
in addition to the resolutions themselves. While Al-Saif said
he would share our concerns with his office director and
their UN delegation, he added that GOK did not want to
'provoke' Iran by voting 'yes.' Al-Saif expressed hesitations
voting against Turkmenistan, a fellow member of the
Organization of Islamic Conferences.
