Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

(S) Royal Court Minister Samir Rifai confirmed to Charge
November 29 that the GOJ had no current plans to launch any
political initiatives related to Iraq's internal conflicts.
He said the GOJ effort to organize a conference in early
November for Iraqi Sunni Arabs had been at the request of IIG
PM Allawi, and that the decision to cancel the conference was
also a response to an Allawi request. Rifai noted that
Allawi, who is to visit Jordan December 1-2, may well be
planning to meet with Iraqis resident in Jordan, but that the
GOJ does not plan to play a role.
