UNCLAS KUWAIT 003893 SIPDIS DEPT FOR DRL, IO, AND NEA/ARPI E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: PREL, PHUM, KU, UNGA SUBJECT: DEMARCHE DELIVERED: UNGA 3RD COMMITTEE HUMAN RIGHTS RESOLUTIONS REF: STATE 236869 DCM delivered reftel demarche to Ambassador Abdullah Al-Murad, Director of the MFA Department of International Organizations, November 10. Al-Murad was familiar with most of the draft resolutions and undertook to review the U.S. positions. He mentioned the Canadians had already requested GOK support for their resolution on Iran, and the DCM confirmed U.S. support for the Canadian text. LeBaron
