DCM delivered reftel demarche to Ambassador Abdullah
Al-Murad, Director of the MFA Department of International
Organizations, November 10. Al-Murad agreed Judge Meron is a
qualified candidate and has a distinguished tenure as an ICTY
judge. He declined, however, to speculate on how Kuwait
would vote and mentioned that he had been approached by
several other governments seeking support for their
candidates.
