US embassy cable - 01ABUJA3016

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

1. (C) PolMilOff November 28 spoke to Stella Aburime at the
Nigerian Justice Ministry. Aburime said that Nigeria had not
yet developed domestic legislation on chemical or biological
weapons. Aburime, who works on the Ministry Committee
charged with drafting the legislation to internalize the CWC
convention provision, agreed to share a draft of legislation
as soon as she has approval to do so. Embassy will forward
the Nigerian draft text to the Department when it is
received, and has forwarded the relevant U.S. Code to Aburime.
