Embassy delivered reftel demarche to the MFA on October 19. On October 29, Deputy IO Ddirector Rhadys Abreu de Polanco called to say that Foreign Minister Carlos Morales Troncoso had approved the Dominican Republic's co-sponsoring the proposed U.S. draft UNGA resolution on the international law enforcement assistance network for combating the criminal misuse of information technology.
