C O N F I D E N T I A L KUWAIT 003592 SIPDIS E.O. 12958: DECL: 10/20/2014 TAGS: PREL, KU, KLEG SUBJECT: ARTICLE 98 RATIFICATION NOW ON FAST TRACK (C) During an October 20 meeting in Kuwait with A/S Lincoln Bloomfield Jr. and PDASD Peter Flory, Foreign Minister Shaykh Dr. Mohammed Al-Salem Al-Sabah, stated that the Article 98 issue would be resolved shortly. Dr. Mohammed explained that he had fast-tracked the ratification issue so that it would be on the Parliament's agenda when it reconvenes on October 26. LeBaron
