US embassy cable - 04THEHAGUE2345

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

1. (SBU) Poloff delivered reftel message to Wilfred Mohr,
Head of Southern Asia Division, September 16. Mohr responded
that the issue had been discussed previously in a
videoconference call with the Department on September 8 and
that an EU Working Party meeting today in Brussels will also
discuss this issue. Mohr was optimistic that the Working
Party would reach agreement today endorsing the message,
including a common approach at UNGA and in New Delhi.
