C O N F I D E N T I A L KUWAIT 003028 SIPDIS E.O. 12958: DECL: 09/08/2014 TAGS: PREL, PTER SUBJECT: DEMARCHE DELIVERED: STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM REF: STATE 187644 (C) CDA delivered reftel demarche to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Khalid Al-Jarallah on September 6, stressing the need to raise terrorism sponsorship in bilateral dealings with Iran and Syria. Al-Jarallah agreed and assured the CDA that he would pass on the information to the Foreign Minister, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabah. CDA provided a non-paper drawn from reftel to the Undersecretary.
