Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

UNCLAS THE HAGUE 002104 SIPDIS E.O. 12958: N/A TAGS: PHUM, AORC, NL, OSCE SUBJECT: OSCE - DUTCH PARTICIPATION AT CONFERENCE ON RACISM, XENOPHOBIA, AND DISCRIMINATION REF: STATE 176189 1. The Dutch hope to send a delegation to subject conference headed by a cabinet minister, likely Rita Verdonk, Minister for Immigration and Integration, according to Joris Geeven, MFA officer covering the OSCE in the Human Rights Department who spoke with Poloff on August 20. Human Rights Special Ambassador Piet de Klerk will be on the delegation. Geeven was intrigued by the participation of NGOs and universities on the U.S. delegation and said he felt the Dutch could have such representation as well. 2. Geevens promised to find out about Dutch reporting on hate crimes per se, with which he was not familiar. He felt sure that some such reporting would go to Parliament on a yearly basis and that such public reports could be submitted to the OSCE. RUSSEL
