US embassy cable - 04ANKARA4318

Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

Dear Mr. Brzezinski

I received your letter concerning the 19th Political Military
Working Group (PMWG) meeting. We agreed on proposed date
mentioned in your letter. Week of 20 September is acceptable
for PMWG and Security Cooperation Working Group (SCWG) as
well.

We would like to discuss the agenda items of the PMWG quite
prior to the meeting with your staffs or the representatives
from your Embassy in Ankara, our staffs can make necessary
arrangements afterwards.

I very much look forward to our meetings with you and your
staffs.
