C O N F I D E N T I A L BRATISLAVA 000711 SIPDIS E.O. 12958: DECL: 07/27/2014 TAGS: MOPS, IZ, LO, NATO SUBJECT: SLOVAKIA SUPPORTS US POSITION ON NATO DUAL-HATTING REF: STATE 159038 Classified By: DCM Scott Thayer for reasons 1.4(b) and (d) (C) PolMilOff met with Radovan Javorcik of the Security Policy Department at the MFA on 27 July, per reftel. Javorcik said that the primary goal for NATO is to deploy the training mission as soon as possible, noting the U.S. proposal is the only means to do so in a secure and rapid way.
