Al-Hosani, who had been MFA's point person during our Article 98 negotiations, told Polchief that the UAEG was pleased to have reached an agreement with the U.S. on Article 98 last February, but that it was equally important for the U.S. to investigate and prosecute the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison to demonstrate that the US justice system is fair.
