Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

BAGHDAD
REF: A. AMMAN 4748
B. BEIRUT 3039
1. After a tense weekend of continued standoff among GOJ,
Dutch and UNHCR officials (reftels), the 14 Naquora Kurds
departed Amman on June 13 via a UN-chartered Russian plane
and accompanied by security officials from the Iraqi Embassy
in Amman. According to UNHCR officials, the plane arrived
safely at Baghdad International Airport where the Iraqi
authorities provided onward ground transportation to Mosul.
UNHCR and the Iraqi Embassy in Amman continue to monitor the
Kurds' return to Mosul but do not anticipate any further
problems with this voluntary repatriation.
2. Baghdad minimize considered.
