Disclaimer: This site has been first put up 15 years ago. Since then I would probably do a couple things differently, but because I've noticed this site had been linked from news outlets, PhD theses and peer rewieved papers and because I really hate the concept of "digital dark age" I've decided to put it back up. There's no chance it can produce any harm now.

Although she is very serious and dedicated, it often appears that she had little understanding or appreciation of U.S. positions. In the past decade, Green Left had come to accept NATO as an appropriate tool to advance peace, and peacekeeping as being conducive to advancing stability and security. However, Karimi appears to be struggling with these questions. A visit to the U.S. could provide her with a better understanding of the goals and objectives of U.S. foreign policy, and the desirability of international cooperation in crisis management and peacekeeping operations around the world. It would also provide her an opportunity to see how the issue has dealt with integration and women's issues.
