Misenheimer for reasons 1.5 (b and d) (c) Pol/Econ Chief delivered key demarche points in reftel to Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe, the Americas and International Organizations Mustapha Noman on 5/8. In a subsequent 5/10 telcon, DFM Noman confirmed that an Iraq resolution was discussed during the Arab League Foreign Ministers' meeting in Cairo, but was unable to relate details of any resolution.
