1. (C) We delivered Ref A demarche April 21 to MFA Deputy
Director General in charge of the OIC/ICFM Mehmet Kemal
Bozay. Bozay said he would forward the U.S. points to the
Turkish delegation in Malaysia, which is led by State
Minister Besir Atalay and includes MFA Deputy Director
General for the Middle East Safak Gokturk. Bozay noted that
OIC senior officials would meet May 9-12 in Jeddah to prepare
political resolutions, reports, a final communique and a
declaration for the June 14-16 OIC Istanbul Foreign
Ministers' meeting.
