Ford. Reasons 1.4 (B)(D). 1. (C) The Charge spoke with MFA Assistant Secretary responsible for UN affairs Ahmed Haddad on April 21 and delivered ref demarche and left talking points as a non-paper. Haddad said he did not know if the Bahraini Ambassador would be at the April 22 meeting but said he would share our paper with their Ambassador. 2. (C) On April 20, Pol/Econ Officer delivered ref non-papers to MFA Director of International Organization Affairs Ghassan Shaikho. FORD
