Given the Ambassador's travel outside the capital, the DCM contacted the Director of the FM's private office, Ali al-Ayed. Initial reaction was sympathetic to the need to call publicly for measures to restore calm and restraint. Al-Ayed said he would forward this request to FM Muasher today.
