Department Head Nihal Cevik on February 20, we informed her
about the positive development with regard to the CEC (ref
B), but also about continuing USG concerns regarding pressure
on opposition-owned businesses (refs C and D). Cevik noted
our points, said Turkey supports human rights and reform in
Ukraine, and undertook to convey our points as well to the
Turkish Embassy in Kiev.
