SUBJECT: Request for a DVC Program in Honor of Black History
Month.
1. Summary: In honor of Black History Month, post would like
to request IIP's support in organizing a 90 minute DVC
program discussing the influence of African Americans in
Popular American Music.
2. We expect an audience of 60 - 70 people for this DVC
program. The audience will consist of students from
Jordanian high schools and musicians.
3. Our recommendation of a theme and timing for the program
is as follows:
- Hip-Hop Culture - A discussion featuring the evolution
of Hip-Hop in America: Wednesday, February 18, 1500 GMT.
