The GoNL has not made a final decision on which candidates it
will support for the UN Committee Against Torture election on
November 26. The MFA expects to take a final decision on
November 20. While not promising to support U.S. candidate
Felice Gaer, MFA contacts report that the GoNL views her
candidacy favorably. Further information will be reported
septel.
