Fax: 94-1-2446364 E-mail: slcdgc@slt.lk 9. 201 10.9022.19.00 X-ray apparatus (Electronic scanners) 11.Comments: 1.The Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) though a special purpose project is calling for applications for pre- qualification from interested parties to finance, procure, install, commission, operate and maintain electronic cargo scanning services for container/ or container/ truck/cargo at the Port of Colombo and the International Airport for a period of 10 years. 2.Following an operational period of ten (10) years, the Project Company will, at the option of GOSL, transfer ownership and all rights of the system to GOSL. 3.Interested parties with or without domestic participation are eligible to submit application for pre- qualification. Parties could be companies, corporations, firms, joint ventures, consortiums or other entities. 4.Pre-qualification documents could be obtained during normal office hours, on payment of a non-refundable fee of Sri Lanka Rupees 25,000/- (US Dollar = SLR 94/-) from the Director General of Customs at the above address. Application for pre-qualification must be submitted on or before 14: 00 hours, October 10, 2003.
